The best of the best is back! Rochdale’s Riverside Artisan Market returns to town for 2023

Date published: 07 March 2023

The north west’s very best hand-crafted food products and unique treasures will be available in Rochdale town centre this Saturday (11 March) with the first Riverside Artisan Market of the year.

The first Riverside Artisan Market of 2023 promises to kick off a series of market Saturdays as it means to go on, set against a backdrop of entertainment by fabulous singer Imogen Page.

Ideal for foodies seeking new flavours, discover an exceptional variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, the freshest meat from a local farm butcher or delicious organic cheese.

From savoury to sweet, traditional Indian food, handmade cookies and fudge, classic pies, and delicious cakes and treats from highly-skilled artisans will provide a feast for all the senses with their delightful aromas and tempting looks.

Wholesome natural food with no added nasties is also available for our beloved pets, plus handmade coats, leads and bandanas, and even hand-crafted dog and cat toys such as squeaky bones and addictive catnip mice.

Alternatively, pick up a bespoke potted plant to bring a touch of spring into your home, or indulge in a spot of luxurious pampering with handmade botanical soaps, bath, body and skincare products, all lovingly made in small batches using skin-loving natural oils and butters.

You can even pick up beautiful gifts to treasure for a lifetime, such as your own bespoke bear, personalised goods, wooden jewellery and pyrographed wood, framed prints, gift cards, soy wax melts and home fragrances – every item as lovingly crafted as the one before it.
